Assessment
Research that stops at publication does not feed a whale. We translate field results into testimony, formal comment and technical support for agencies writing vessel rules, habitat designations and salmon recovery plans.
Our position is narrow and evidence-led. We advocate for measures where the mechanism is understood and the effect is measurable — vessel slowdowns, seasonal exclusion zones, spill and stormwater controls, and dam removal where the salmon science supports it.
We do not take positions on issues outside our data. That restraint is why agencies still take our filings seriously.
